Referance Number: J13034
Product Code: TW00350
The Seiko J13034, also known as the "Seikomatic Blue Yacht", is a rare and collectible automatic watch produced by Seiko for a short time around 1961 and 1962. The beautiful sunray dial features a rotating pattern and a hidden crown integrated into the case at the 4th position. It features Dauphine hands on the clock and a simple 3-hand layout. The Seiko J13034 is powered by a 17-jewel automatic movement. The Seiko Blue Yacht J13034 was the forerunner of the SilverWave and iconic 62MAS dive watches. While not a dive watch itself, the Blue Yacht's design aesthetic is thought to have influenced later models. It is a relatively simple watch in terms of functionality, but its vintage aesthetic and historical significance make it a very valuable collector's item. The case of this particular item you are viewing has never been polished. As such, you may see some minor marks. We can also give it a clean polish if you wish, but the wisdom of doing so for such a valuable item is a real question. The product you are reviewing was produced in 1961.
Professionally restored and FULLY SERVICED (movement completely disassembled, every part cleaned, oiled and adjusted for accuracy) so your watch will work without any unpleasant surprises. (No service required for 3 years unless exposed to adverse conditions.)
Item Condition: Tested, all functions work.
