One of the strongest aspects of Omega's De Ville collection is its ability to truly master simplicity. This 1975 women's model is a beautiful example of this: despite its small case diameter of only 20.2 mm, it has an extremely balanced and characterful appearance.
The silver-toned dial stands out in the light with its finely brushed texture radiating from the center outwards. The applied baton indices and thin black-silver hands complete the dial without cluttering it with unnecessary details. Apart from the Omega logo at 12 o'clock and the DE VILLE lettering at 6 o'clock, there is almost nothing else on the dial. A restrained design, exactly as one would expect from elegant women's watches of the era.
The stainless steel case continues this same approach. The thin bezel and long, tapering lugs make the watch appear more delicate, while the black textured strap creates a strong yet classic contrast with the silver dial. The 20.2 mm measurement is quite small by today's standards; However, this model isn't a watch that tries to look big. The Omega Watch Co., Fab. Suisse, Swiss Made stamps and the reference 511.0371 are clearly visible on the inside case. The watch is also presented with a period-appropriate Omega box; its red velvet interior and Omega logo case beautifully complete the set.
