With its black dial, classic proportions, and the 7S26 caliber which served as the foundation for millions of Seiko mechanical watches over the years this model exemplifies ALBA’s ability to create a serious automatic watch that eschews ostentation.

The serial number 630059 on the case back dates the watch to March 2016. This date aligns perfectly with the "Japan Collection" era, during which the model was released in Japan in 2015. The case reference is 7S26-D001, and the product tag identifies the model as the AQHA004. The markings "7S26B" and "21 jewels" are clearly visible on the movement through the transparent case back.
The stainless steel case, measuring approximately 38 mm in diameter, plays a key role in the model's classic character. On the black dial, the Roman numerals at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions stand out from the other baton indices, while the bilingual day-date window at 3 o'clock upholds the Seiko Group's tradition of practical, everyday timepieces. The dial retains plenty of open space; consequently, despite the presence of text indicating "automatic," "21 jewels," and the brand name, the surface does not appear cluttered.
