Seiko Lord Marvel 14012 is a vintage dress watch first introduced in 1958. It was Seiko's first true luxury watch and was positioned above the standard Seiko Marvel series. This series is considered the forerunner of the Grand Seiko series. Lord Marvel was known for its high-quality construction, accurate movement and elegant design. The watch features a 19-jewel Diashock movement, a shock-resistant movement that helps protect the watch from damage. This system used small springs to absorb the shock caused by impacts, which helped preserve the precise movement of the watch. The Diashock system was a major innovation for Seiko at that time. The watch also has a stainless steel case and a white dial with gold markers. The Lord Marvel was a popular watch in its day and is still sought after by collectors today.
